As with all types and brands of contact lenses, care should be taken when applying make-up and other cosmetic products when you’re wearing daysoft daily disposable contact lenses… and not just with the obvious things like eyeliner & mascara; hairspray & nail varnishes and so on, should all be applied with care

DO
- apply make-up sparingly after inserting your contact lenses.
- only put make-up on the outer part of your eyelid.
- remove your contact lenses before taking off your make-up.
- use oil-free hypo-allergenic make-up remover.
- remove your daysoft contact lens immediately, if you get make-up on it. then start over with a new one.
- use oil and fragrance-free make-up.
- use water-proof, non-oily mascara for less flaking.
- avoid mascara with lash-building fibres.
- renew your mascara and eyeliner at least every 6 months.
- consult your eyecare practitioner if you experience any irritation, redness or pain associated with contact lens wear.
DON'T
- apply cosmetics if you think you have an eye infection.
- let make-up come in contact with your contact lenses.
- use water or saliva to lubricate make-up applicators.
- apply eyeliner to the inner part of your eyelid.
- use make-up containing glitter when wearing contact lenses.
- use oil-based make-up removers.
- use make-up with preservatives if you have any allergies.
- share cosmetics.
- expose your make-up to excessive heat.
- use aerosols (with eyes open) when wearing contact lenses.
