Daily disposable contact lenses are proven to be the healthiest and safest contact lenses and extraordinarily convenient to use.

The great thing about daily disposable lenses is that you know you are using a sterile lens every time whereas 2-4 weekly replacement/continuous wear lenses require cleaning when they are removed and disinfection in a storage solution – and around 10% of users show/develop a sensitivity to solutions. (Even continuous wear lenses, unless thrown away each week, require solutions for cleaning and storage when not being used.)
As you may be aware storage solutions do not sterilise the lenses but only disinfect them and there have been several care solution recalls recently due to problems with their effectiveness – you get a fresh sterile lenses every time you use daily disposable lenses.
When deciding on the best lenses to use one needs to take into account a number of factors including the cost of cleaning and storage solutions, the increased risk with those used for more than one day and the frequency and costs of Aftercare checks with your Optician/Eye Doctor. In my opinion wearing lenses during waking hours only and replacing them each time is the best and most cost-effective option.
